Flow definition

the action or fact of moving along in a steady, continuous stream.

In the moment definition

You are characterized as “in the moment” if wherever you are, whatever you are doing, your mind and body are right there as well. No dwelling on the past, the future, or any obligations or troubles you may be encountering in your life. If you are in the moment, you are right here, right now, nowhere else

Taking into account the above,  this is our end goal as actors which will be the beginning, middle and end of the scene in question

So what do we do to begin this process before we hear the word action

The first thing to realise is the you are probably one of the experts on set especially if you have the FACTA skill set. This isn't a power trip by the way because at times you will choose to steer your character to be weak or taken over. Additionally it is a rarity that the Director has studied acting as much as you as his skill set will lay elsewhere in terms of being your guide throughout the film.

In prep you will have decided on your strategy by using the FACTA acting formula listed below.

                     In Sh          Moo

                               I         I

S I M (+/- P/E) + EMO + Sc A  =  VOID(Int Vac) + PT + D + (L)AT
